The preceeding table is a listing of various space-weather indices from a variety of sources. The listings in the upper section of the table are daily values covering the past week, and the listings in the lower section (labeled MAGNETOMETER ANALYSIS ...) are for the past nine hours. A brief description of each parameter listed and the source of each is provided below:

NWRA SSNe: This is a daily effective sunspot number (SSN) calculated by NWRA from ionospheric foF2 measurements provided by the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center(SWPC). The value for the current day is calculated from the last 24 hours of foF2 data.
Pred: A predicted SSNe for the this date.
Mean SSNe: An SSNe calculated using five-day mean foF2 values.

IPS T: The daily T-index from the Austrailian Ionospheric Prediction Service (IPS) Radio and Space Services
SSN: The observed daily sunspot number from the NOAA SWPC.
F10.7 SSN: SSN calculate from the 10.7cm solar radio flux (see F10 below).
GPS SSNf: SSN calculated from an F10.7 derived from the GPS IONO coefficients (see FGPS below).
FBAR SSN: SSN calculate from the 90-day mean F10.7 (see FBAR below).

F10.7: The daily Penticton 10.7cm solar radio flux from the NOAA SWPC.
Pred: The predicted daily Penticton 10.7cm solar radio flux from the NOAA SWPC.
FGPS: F10.7 derived from the GPS IONO coefficients from ionosphere coefficients obtained from the NOAA NGS CORS site.
FBAR: The daily 90-day mean of F10.7 from the NOAA SWPC.

Ap(est): Estimate of the daily Ap index from the NOAA SWPC (see Note 1).
Pred: Forecast of the daily Ap index form the NOAA SWPC.

From SSNe Analysis: The RMS and percent RMS difference between the foF2 values used in generating the most recent NWRA SSNe value and foF2 calculated using the SSNe value in the CCIR foF2 model; and the number of foF2 values used in calculating SSNe.
1-8A xray flux: The most recent 1-8A solar xray flux value (one minute average) from one of NOAA's GOES satellites, provided by the NOAA SWPC.
Proton flux (>1, >10, >100 MeV): The most recent energetic proton fluxes (five minute averages) from one of NOAA's GOES satellites, provided by the NOAA SWPC (units are protons/cm**2-sec-ster).

RUN 3-HOUR AP: An estimated geomagnetic ap index calculated for the 3-hour period at the column head. These (and the following two) indices are calculated by the USAF Weather Agency Space Weather Operation Center (AFWA/XOGX, located at Offutt AFB, NE) and provided by the NOAA SWPC. (see Note 1)
RUN 3-HOUR KP: An estimated geomagnetic Kp index calculated for the 3-hour period at the column head (see Note 1).
24-HOUR AP: An estimated 24-hour Ap index calculated for the 24-hour period ending at the end of the 3-hour period at the column head (see Note 1).

Notes:

The official values for Kp, ap, and Ap with references to documents describing these indices can be found at GeoForchungsZentrum Potsdam. This site appears to provide new indices every two weeks with a 5-7 day lag.
A -999.0 in the upper section indicates that the data are either not available yet or were not made available by the agency responsible for its generation or dissimination.
The data in the lower section of the list (the magnetometer analysis) may be in many formats. We cannot control either the availability or the format of this section.
